You ask, we answer

Everything important about features, privacy, installation and licences. Your question is not here? Write to us

Displayna is a self-hosted digital signage and kiosk platform. You design content in a drag-and-drop editor, manage every screen centrally in a CMS and broadcast to robust players on Windows or Linux — no cloud lock-in.
No. Displayna runs on your own server (on-premise, in your data centre or on a rented server). A permanent internet connection is not required: the player tolerates up to 14 days offline and keeps showing the last approved version.
Yes. Displayna was built data-frugally: no mandatory cloud, no telemetry, no trackers. Third-party services such as weather or RSS go through server-side proxies, so players send no data to third parties. You keep full data sovereignty.
The player runs as a full-screen kiosk on Windows 10/11 and Linux (64-bit) as well as in the browser. It supports multiple monitors per device, restarts itself after crashes and can be PIN-protected against visitor access.
Technically unlimited per server. Devices are paired with a 6-digit code, organised in groups and broadcast to centrally. The right edition depends on your screen count.
Over 30 widgets: text, image, video, gallery, clock, weather, RSS, news ticker, QR code, countdown, KPI cards, CSV tables, calendar, YouTube, web page embed, touch buttons and more. Freely combinable and time-schedulable.
Yes. Every slide can be scheduled by day of week, time and date range. For example, breakfast specials show only in the morning, promotions only during their campaign — fully automatic.
In the Enterprise edition content goes through an approval workflow with four-eyes principle: the submitter cannot self-approve. On approval a snapshot is created; screens keep the approved version until the next one is actively approved.
Yes. An emergency alert overrides every player and CMS portal in seconds — with audio, priority level and automatic resolution. Even a freshly restarted player shows the active alert instantly.
Via a Quickstart script, as a Docker container or as a Proxmox LXC. The CMS server is ready in minutes. The player is installed on your display PCs as an installer (Windows) or AppImage (Linux).
Displayna comes in three editions: Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Instead of monthly cloud fees per screen you receive a predictable licence. We share the exact price in a personal quote — tailored to your screen count.
Yes, with a 30-day trial that includes the full Enterprise feature set — no credit card. Just request a demo.
