Displayna was built data-frugally from the ground up: no mandatory cloud, no telemetry, no hidden trackers. Your content and device data stay where they belong — with you.
Run Displayna in your own data centre, on a rented server or locally. You decide where the data lives.
The software does not "phone home". Third-party services (weather, RSS) are routed through your own server proxy.
Content goes live only after approval. The submitter cannot self-approve — ideal for compliance.
Admin, editor, viewer with clearly separated rights and per-project owner isolation.
Every security-relevant action is recorded: who, when, what — fully traceable for audits.
Protect accounts with a TOTP authenticator or a FIDO2 passkey. Brute-force protection on login included.
Published snapshots
On approval a snapshot is created. If you continue editing the project afterwards, the screens keep showing the approved version — until the next one is actively approved. No accidental "going live".
